So I haven't been that good at keeping up with my blog so far. I've been waiting to get some videos edited and haven't gotten around to it so I decided to post a blog without a video. Hopefully I can get one uploaded soon. Bella has learned that she likes to use the camera, so she doesn't "perform" for it anymore, she just wants to actually make movies. Isabella is becoming more and more verbal everyday. We continue to be amazed at some of the things she says. The other night when I told her it was time to go to her bed and sleep she said "Mommy, that's not an option." Her new thing has been that she makes up songs about whatever went on that day, so we usually can't understand it all but today it went something like "I went to Tabitha's, Darrion didn't feel good" and something about a key in the truck. She has also started singing at the top of her lungs when we are in the store and she refuses to stop. Usually she's singing Jesus Loves Me and it's just too cute to get that mad at her.
On another note, thanks to Laurie we have tickets for Opening Day at Minute Maid Park! Can't wait to see the Astros back in action. Bella's been practicing cheering, so she runs around saying "Go Puma!" and "Go Miggy!" We've tried to teach her to recognize the players, using the calendar in her Daddy's office, but so far we are only doing good at recognizing Lance Berkman. We're working on it though. Maybe by Opening Day she'll be better. Now some people would call this brainwashing, but I like to think of it as creating another life-long Astros fan! We're so lucky that she loves going to the game as much as we do! If you are like me and ready for the season, you might want to check out Alyson Footer's blog at MLB.com: http://footer.mlblogs.com/.
Hopefully I'll get the videos uploaded this week. If not, I'll make sure to post pictures from the Chris Tomlin concert Friday night.
